We are all back at home now and out of surgeries and such. While we were out Easter came and went, school started again for Jared, and the sun decided to shine. The Easter Bunny came and the kids had fun tracking down something like 20 eggs a piece. Just like the Tooth Fairy at grandmas house the Easter Bunny pulls out all the stops in Grandmas presence. After church the kids came to the hospital to deliver Audrey's basket. Everyone looked so nice in their new Easter outfits.
Kevin had his reconstructive surgery on his knee yesterday and he is camped out in the living room. The doctor said his patella tendon was pretty much shredded, but was able to put him back together. At the moment he is in a brace that does not allow him to bend his knee at all. Every week the doctor will slowly add a little mobility to the brace, but for now he had to stay in bed. Before surgery. This is a picture of Kevin when he first got home after surgery. He is a little loopy. Thought this was funny. We have our own little pharmacy when you combine both Kevin and my meds.
Audrey is so sweet I've heard about those babies that hardly ever cry and are content to just lay around, but I've never experienced it first hand. She must have known before she came here that she was entering a home with some serious special need parents. Here are some pictures of her first few days.

Kevin- This is a classic case of you feeling left out and needing attention! Just had to go and get surgery too... I see how it is! Well I hope that the "recoveries" go well!
COngrats again !!
Love, Steve and Stacie
Glad things are going well. So Grandma Dunn is nursing two and caring for grandkids as well. She'll need her own care when she gets home! HaHa! Audrey is beautiful and looks very content. Does she look like the others when they were born?
So glad you are all doing well. Let's hope none of you need to go back to the hospital for anything else! :)
Tiff - so glad that precious babe is in your arms instead of your stomach
Kevin - so funny you are such a gimp when your wife needs you most . . . in my opinion, you planned this ;0) Thank goodness for grandmas!
Love to you both!
Congrats to the Parks family! Audrey is adorable!!
How exciting! She is beautiful! Congratuations!
I don't know how you have two parents in recovery & a newborn! Crazy. Little Audrey looks so much older already. She's cute & I'm glad her easy-going personality arrived at the perfect time!
Audrey looks beautiful. I can't wait to see her and the rest of you guys, but more than that, I can't wait to see Grandma. All my love.
Grandpa Dunn
Your kids all look beautiful! Hope Audrey continues to be a peaceful baby!
