Cooling Off

More California Pictures:
Grandma and Grandpa set up a slip-n-slide out in the back yard.

This girl thinks she is a rock star.

The side kick slide.

"There is no way you are going to get me anywhere near that cold sprinkler water!"
Thanks to some friends of the families with pools we were able to keep cool during our stay in California.

We also floated the lower Kern once before the wedding reception and once before we flew home.

This was the half way point where we reapplied sunblock. The time we went before Blake and Sara's reception Sara and I got really burnt so weren't going to let that happen again. Nothing is more painful than being completely roasted and having to stand in a wedding line smiling and giving out hugs to people you haven't seen in years. OUCH!

Sonnet and Christian weren't the only love birds!
We also Spent some time in Tahoe for a family reunion and spent two days out at the lake, but pictures from that little trip will come in a later post.
We took a trip over to the beach.

We love the Avila Barn!

It was windy and a little cold, but that didn't stop us from having fun.

Sand every where!
We also made a stop at Moro Rock. There is a great museum for kids there I highly recommend.

We had such a fun time keeping cool in California

The river rafting looks like an absolute blast! Glad you guys had a fun trip and the strep didn't keep you out of the fun. We missed you guys...time to get together!

Great photos yet again. I love the one where she's buried in the sand! And the one of the "LOVEBIRDS."
